Reginé Gilbert, industry assistant professor and author of a book on inclusive digital design, commented on technology inclusivity, addressing how ongoing training is essential to influence how designers and developers work, otherwise there’s a risk such efforts just become tick-the-box exercises.
“You don’t just throw a bunch of bricks together and say the building is built. You have to layer them really carefully,” said Gilbert.
