The Justice Department’s antitrust division has hired Laura Edelson, post-doctoral researcher at NYU Tandon, as chief technologist. “At the Antitrust Division, we recognize that we need technological expertise and data-handling knowledge in-house in order to understand where markets are going and where the next threats may arise,” read the statement
