The White House’s AI Bill of Rights looks to curb AI bias
Julia Stoyanovich, industry associate professor and director of the Center for Responsible AI at NYU Tandon, shared her thoughts on the White House’s “blueprint” for an “AI Bill of Rights.
“I was very happy to see that the Bill discusses effectiveness of AI systems prominently. We need to develop a culture of rigorously specifying the criteria against which we evaluate AI systems, and removing them from use if the systems do not work,” said Stoyanovich.
