Nabil Zaki

Nabil W. Zaki is an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Mr. Zaki is an authority on global capital markets, derivatives, and risk management. He comes with a wealth of experience since 1976 in major banks and financial institutions; Chase Manhattan Bank and Merrill Lynch in Corporate Finance and Treasury/Capital Markets as well as teaching/training experience in the United States and overseas; with major names; New York Institute of Finance, Euromoney, Informa Dubai (formerly IIR). Currently, Mr. Zaki is Managing Director of Global Finance Associates in the U.S.A.; offering a wide gamut of corporate finance activities for American as well as overseas banking and financial institutions. Mr. Zaki was a member of the Board of Directors of FABMisr (Subsidiary of UAE-based First Abu Dhabi Bank) from 2021 to 2023.

Mr. Zaki acted as a senior adviser for Standard Chartered Bank in London & Singapore, HSBC in North America, RHB Sakura in Singapore, Malaysia, and HK, Temasek in Singapore, Permal Group (A British investment management firm focusing on hedge and private equity funds; with AUM $375 billion in 2005) and a number of major institutions in the Gulf area. He trained/taught in more than 45 countries in areas covering Asset/Liability Management, Capital Markets & Treasury Management, Trading & Portfolio Management & Corporate Finance.

Mr. Zaki holds a Master’s degree in International Economics/Finance from Maxwell School of Syracuse University, U.S.A. in 1981 In addition to a Diploma in International Business and Management from Syracuse University. Mr. Zaki is a regular commentator on CNN, CNBC, Al-Jazeera, Al- Arabiya, and France 24.
