Bio:

I am a rising sophomore majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. I was born and raised in the quiet suburbs of San Jose, California, so New York is a real change of pace. Even after a year of living here I continue to be amazed by the vibrancy and diversity of the city.

On campus, I am a TA for the NYU MakerSpace where I help NYU students find their passion for building and innovation. I am also an Orientation Leader where I get to help new Tandon students find how their cog fits into the Tandon machine.

While I am still trying to figure out my specific career path, I am passionate about education. I hope to use my degree to improve education around the world, with a focus on increasing access in underdeveloped countries.

When I am not studying or tinkering in the MakerSpace, I can be found wandering the city looking for its numerous hidden gems. As the youngest in a family of six, I grew up playing a lot of board games; I continue that passion at NYU through the board game club.
