Bio:

Hi! I’m Hamza Hussain, a sophomore at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. I am studying Applied Mathematics & Physics and I am keen on applying my education to disciplines such as Finance, Aerospace Engineering and Quantum Computing. I grew up in the Midlands in England before moving to Texas for high school. With my Egyptian and Indian heritage, I find that living in the melting pot of NYC compliments the multitude of cultures I identify with.

At NYU, I participate in an array of organizations that align with my academic and cultural passions. The Creative Physical Computing VIP and the Society of Undergraduate Physics push my education outside of the classroom, while I also serve on the Executive Board of the Muslim Student Association.

Academia aside, I love watching anime and playing trumpet, performing with NYU’s orchestras and spending my summers with Drum Corps International. Otherwise, you can catch me at Brooklyn’s Pier 5 playing soccer with friends!
